Mary Faye Taylor Haltom, 87, of Bryan, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, at her residence in Bryan. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. A graveside funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Bryan City Cemetery, with the Rev. David Murphy officiating.
Faye was born on June 17, 1922, in North Zulch, to John and Mary Taylor. She is a lifetime resident of Bryan and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lynn Haltom.
Survivors include her two daughters, Nancy Erwin, of College Station, and Lynell Collins, of Bryan; sister and brother-in-law, Lessie Mae and L.T. Moore, of Spring Branch, TX; grandchildren, Tonya Bridges, Jarrod Collins, Candice Chambers and husband Jon, Michael Erwin and wife Nicole; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
