Marsha Diane Burns, 70, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. A Memorial Service is set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at A&M United Methodist Church in College Station.
Marsha was born in Dawson, Texas on July 10, 1941. She moved to Bryan in 1999 from Deer Park and was a member of A&M United Methodist Church. Marsha’s hobbies were antiques, arts and crafts, collecting buttons and reading. Her greatest love though was for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, V. Leon, Jr. and Gena Forehand, of Lubbock; daughters and son-in-law, Kelley D. and Doug Ervin, of Bryan, and Rhonda F. Mudd, of Seabrook; brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald and Dana Burns, of Wimberly, and Boyce Burns, of Deer Park; grandchildren, Brandon Thornton, Meagan Mudd, Bryant Ervin, Keaton Forehand, and Bradley Ervin; great-grandchildren, Brylee Williams and Westyn Thornton, and several nieces and nephews.
