Mark Kerr

Mark Glynn Kerr
January 28, 1958 – June 17, 2016

Mark Kerr, 58, of Bryan, passed away on Friday June 17, 2016 at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be held in Hardy, Arkansas. Local arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mark was born to Luther Dean Kerr and Betty Ruth Shanks Kerr on January 28, 1958 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mark was raised with a strong work ethic and that, as an adult, translated to an amazing dedication to his family and his work that could be seen more than told. To those who know and love him he was the greatest man whose presence commanded adoration. He was an avid supporter of NWTF, DU and various other wildlife organizations. Mark was a lifelong member of the NRA and a proud member of the Freemasons. He was an outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting. If the sun was shining you’d rarely find him indoors. The impact he had on those around him is indescribable and he will be greatly missed.

His parents Luther and Betty precede him in death.

He is survived by his wife Tere Kerr; his children Bradley Kerr, of The Woodlands, Brittney Burgess and her husband Jay of Ashflatt, Arkansas, Michael Samford and his wife Jessica, of Bryan., Jason Samford and his wife Crystal, of Center, Texas, Kristen Richardson and husband Justin, of Henderson, Texas; his seven grandchildren, Raven, Dayton, Brayden, Grayson, Hannah, Colt, Korbin, and numerous other relatives and close friends.
