Marina “Shay” Love Moreno
December 15, 1974 – June 03, 2018

Shay Moreno, 43, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, June 3, 2018, in Bryan surrounded by her loving family. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

Shay was born December 15, 1974 to the late Charles Love and Claire (Moise) Love. In addition to her parents, her beloved pet, Melia, preceded her in death.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband; Pete Moreno; sister, Shannon and her husband Tim Harmon; niece & nephew, Sidney and Trevor, her uncle Matthew Moise and a very special extended family as well as their fur-baby, Presley.

She was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile and her kind, compassionate and passionate spirit. On the home-front Shay volunteered for many fundraising events to help out her friends in need as well as travel to Tobago to serve in Medical Missions.

She had many talents in life; she has been a college and cosmetology student, an interior decorative painter, a realtor, an activity director for seniors, and worked in variety of sales.

Shay and Pete married on February 12, 2000, and had the opportunity to live in many States, as she was very supportive of Pete’s career endeavors. They loved to travel, enjoy good food, watch football and spend time with family.

There will be a celebration of her life at the home of her parent-in-laws, John and Shelaine Moreno on June 24, 2-5 p.m.
