Marilyn Sue Cass

A long time resident of Gause, Texas, Mrs. Marilyn “Sue” Cass, age 65, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Sue was born in Jackson, Mississippi on January 5, 1947 to Joseph & Lillian Peeples. Her family moved to Texas in October of 1960. Sue worked in the food service industry until she retired in 2006. Sue was a wife to Benny Lane Cass for 34 years. She was a sister to James Henry Peeples, Joseph Edward Peeples, Peggy Peeples-Smotek and is preceeded in death by her brother, Paul Wayne Peeples. Sue was a sister-in-law to Judy & Cindy Peeples; a mother to Reynae Yaws, Tammy Sayers, Chris Ware, Shellie Logan and Daniel Cass; a mother-in-law to Tim Sayers, Sylvia Ware, Tim Logan & Courtney Cass; a step-mother to David & Benny Cass, Jr.; a grandmother of 17; a great grandmother to 2 and an aunt to 15. Sue’s wishes are being carried out and there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to Texas Children’s Hospital in Sue’s name. Sue wanted everyone to live their life and rejoice in knowing she is waiting on us, with her momma, her daddy and her brother.
