MARGARET OZMENT DUCKETT
September 7, 1919 – June 6, 2008

Margaret Duckett, 88, of Bryan passed away Friday at Sherwood Health Care. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Mrs. Duckett had been a resident of Bryan for 42 years, moving from Alice. She was a retired bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Duckett in 2003.

Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, James Duckett, Jr. of The Woodlands, Walter R. Duckett of Houston and Glen and Cheryl Duckett of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Ray Jr. and Mary Ozment of Waco; sisters and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Bill Bufkin of Texas City, Bobbie Olson of Waco and Violet Barnes of Waco; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 6977 Main St., Houston, TX 77030.

I was so sad to hear of the loss of Aunt Margaret. She was very special and I will miss her. I am unable to attend her funeral tomorrow as I have doctor apts that cant be changed, my prayers and heart will be with each of you.
