Leonard E Hamm

Leonard E. Hamm, 67, of Bryan, passed away Monday August 26, 2013, with his family by his side. His family will receive friends during a visitation from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. A graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, August 30, at Restever Memorial Park Cemetery in Bryan.

Leonard was born July 11, 1946, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Joel and Wanda Hamm. He has lived in this area since 1972 after moving from Arkansas, and worked as a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hamm, his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Leonard II and Lauree Hamm; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Billy Venters, Mandi Adams and Shane Holiday; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Judi Hamm, Wayne and Tina Hamm, Daniel and Amy Hamm; sisters and brother-in-law, Vonola Hamm, Gaylene and Pat Pineda; six grandchildren; step-sons, LeRoy, Darrel, Gary Waldrep; step-daughters, Cheryl, Elme, and Sharon Waldrep.

  2. Leonard isn’t it amazing how a few hundred miles can separate us and our families for sometimes a lifetime. Sorry, will be unable to attend tomorrow, but will always love and remember you.
