Lena Cash Bradley was born on November 28, 1939 in Bryan, Texas to Ross and RosaLee Ferrara Cash. Lena graduated from Hearne High School, Class of 1957. Lena’s father and family were cotton farmers and ranchers in the Brazos bottom, where she was raised. She would marry the love her life Gary Bradley in 1966. She and Gary welcomed into their home three children Sherri, Michael, and Milissa.

Lena’s focus was always her family. She exemplified the title of Homemaker. One thing she will be remembered for is she always had supper prepared by 6pm sharp for the family to enjoy. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will remember her dedication to them by her presence at all school events, birthday parties and gatherings, as well as her love of fishing that was shared among the family. She had a great joy for the summer travels to various states and yearly family vacations in Rockport, Texas. Lena was a believer in faith, her love for Jesus and her Catholic Church. Lena wanted her children to have a relationship with God through the great outdoors and appreciate the natural gifts given from above. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hearne.

Preceding Lena in death are her parents, her brother Joseph Ross Cash and her nephew Joseph (Jo-Jo) Ross Cash, Jr.
