Keith Raymond Donle
July 24, 1951 – September 17, 2017

Keith Donle, 66, of Bryan, passed away on Sunday, September 17, at St. Joseph Hospital, the result of an automobile accident. A Life Tribute Service celebration honoring his life will begin at 1p.m., Saturday, September 23, at the funeral home. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

Keith was born to Earl Donle and Doris Berglund Donle, in North Redding, Massachusetts on July 24, 1951. Keith moved to Texas in the 1970s and met his wife Diane in Bryan; they were married for 31 years. Keith was the owner/operator of KD Remodel and Repair. He enjoyed all aspects of his work, but his passion was carpentry. This love and skill of carpentry was inherited from his father. Many of Keith’s clients became lifelong friends with whom he socialized often. Keith was a very down-to-earth guy with a zest for life who enjoyed nothing better than grilling, eating fine food and being with friends and family.

His parents preceded him in death.

Keith is survived by his wife, Diane Donle, and brothers, Wayne Donle and wife Simone, and Bruce Donle and wife Clarinda; his nieces and nephews, Rob, Laurie, Kevin, and Kimberly; and his furry kids, Jack, Rosie, and Smokey.

Please express your condolences at Callaway-Jones.

  10. Keith you were a true friend and always greeted me with a handshake every time we saw each other, your big smile will be missed by me and everyone, you were a super good, nice guy, with deepest symphony, love, Dano

  11. My husband grew up, following Keith around as he fixed things and did random work around his parent’s house. For the last six years, our children have been following in their dad’s footsteps and building a relationship with Mr. Keith and Mr. Steve. Our daughter loved to sit and talk with them while they took their lunch break. Our oldest son loved to be in on the action; always asking questions about their tools and how they were using them and what they were going to do next. I could call on Keith to do anything I needed, from custom work to hanging something and even to rushing over to cut my cat out of the wall (yes, this did in fact happen).
To his family, I’d like to say that I am so deeply sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed by many.

  12. One of the nicest people I have ever met had not known him as long as many but he always made you feel like you had been friends for years
Prayers to all of his family
    Richard and DeDe Pearce

  13. I was very sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. I have been very appreciative of all the help he has given me with maintenance projects at my home. He did excellent work. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

  14. Diane, I am heart-broken for you. Keith was one of my favorite customers for the past 30 years. I always looked forward to having him stop by. We shared many laughs. He and Steve did a job at my house, but didn’t charge me much, cause they knew I was struggling. I am going to miss him so very much. I hope God provides love & healing for you.
