June Oldham Nickerson
December 30, 1933- March 18, 2019

June Nickerson, 85, of Bryan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, wrapped in arms of angels and left us to go to a peaceful place on March 18, 2019. June was born December 30, 1933 in Dallas County, Texas.
June was the daughter of Jack and Mildred Thomas Skelton. June was a loving wife of 27 years to Billy Darrell Oldham and Pete Nickerson for 12 years. Ms. Nickerson was a member of Bright Light Free Will Baptist Church in College Station. She enjoyed crocheting to make blankets for family members as well as friends, word finds, being with family, preparing meals for her family and holidays, gardening and feeding her birds. June was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Skelton, Billy Oldham, Pete Nickerson and grandson Levi. June is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Voorhis and husband Terry of Rowlett, daughter Sharon Chesson of Bryan and son Marvin Oldham and wife Sherri of Bryan. She is lovingly missed by her grandchildren; Shane Vaughn and wife Rhonda, Kristal Gonzales, Lewis George and wife Julie, Dustin Pierce and wife Morgan and Kayla Oldham as well as great grandchildren; Hayden, Nikita, Karlie, Adelynn, Cash, Hunter, Jaycob, Kayleigh, Tori, and Hailey.
Visitation will be Sunday March 24, 2019 from 3pm to 5pm at Callaway Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. Her life will be honored and celebrated on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Callaway Jones Funeral Center with interment to follow in Pasadena, Texas.
