From Judy Heaney

My Mom had requested cremation when she moved here at age 82. She was still in good health at the time, so I took her to meet the people at Callaway-Jones, (they were already friends of mine), and she was so impressed with the owners and staff and was completely at peace with the decision to have them handle her final arrangements. When she passed away at the hospital at age 88, she was taken directly to Callaway-Jones where her wishes were fulfilled. That was in 2003.
Then just this past March, my Aunt (Mom’s sister) came to live with us at age 88. She also wanted cremation and I told her about Callaway-Jones and she was comfortable with that decision. We were with her in the hospital when she died just 20 days after moving here, and the hospital was aware of her directive. She passed at 2:30 AM, and very early that same morning we received a call from Cody stating that they had picked her up, she was in their care, she had never left their care, and they were calling to get further instructions.
So, now we have used Callaway-Jones twice and have been most pleased with the way they have conducted their services. And when it is time, my husband and myself will also be cremated there. Since the addition of Pet Legacies, a cremation service for animals, we have also made the decision that all our dogs will be cremated there as well.
Special thanks and hugs to the owners, my friends, Cody Jones and his Mom, Lorene, for their caring words and actions.
