Joseph Udulutch

Joseph “Papa Joe” Udulutch, 79, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011, at the St. Joseph Manor. A Celebration of Life Memorial Ceremony is set for 7 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. The family will receive friends and guests before the ceremony from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Callaway-Jones.
Joseph was born May 3, 1932, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Theodore Jr. and Alice Udulutch. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy as he served during the Korean Conflict.
Joseph married his wife, Beverly, on February 28, 1975. They were both longtime residents of Wisconsin, having owned and operated Budget King Hotel in Wisconsin Rapids for a number of years. They have lived in the Bryan College Station area for 14 years, after moving from Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his brother,s Theodore and Paul Udulutch, his sister, Martha Thomson, and his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly Udulutch, of Bryan, Texas; sons, Joseph C. Udulutch, of Franklin, Wisc., Robert Udulutch and wife Kim, of Waukesha, Wisc., Ted Udulutch and Vinny Valente, of Deland, Florida, David Udulutch, of St. Simons Island, Georgia; daughters, Julie Udulutch and husband James Smolinski, of Dayton, Ohio, Kim Patterson, of Pensacola, Florida, Karen Werner, of Milwaukee, Wisc., Barbara Symons and husband Lyle, of College Station, Texas; brother, Father Paul Valley “Uncle Jim,” of New Mexico; sister, Constance Weber, of Waukesha, Wisc.; ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
