John Brawley

John Franklin Brawley, 59, of Bryan, passed away peacefully, Monday December 5, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Trinity Baptist Church in Bryan, with the Rev. Henry Stovall officiating. Service arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory in Bryan.

John was born October 14, 1952, in Eastland, Texas, to Louis and Nedra Brawley. He has lived in Bryan since 1978, and he was known for his love for truck driving. John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bryan.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Condict, and his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Brawley, of Bryan; sons, William Brawley, of Bryan, Elmer Brawley, of Temple, John Brawley, of Temple, Cody Brawley and wife Ashley, of Louisiana; grandsons, Mason Storm Brawley, Gabe Brawley, Mason Brawley, Logan Brawley; brothers, Daniel Brawley, Alan Brawley and wife Kathy, Floyd Brawley, Robert Brawley, Donnie Brawley; sisters, Sue Branton, Martha Daniels; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Frances Riggs; sister-in-law, Sandra Richards and husband Steve; brother-in-law, Jerry Brewer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
