Jesse “Mike” McGuffey

Jesse “Mike” McGuffey passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 in Bryan, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife Lisa, son Robbie, step-son Clint Duncan and step-daughter Rhiannon Bates and three grandchildren.

A professional farrier by trade Mike was a man of many talents and hobbies. He enjoyed traveling. trail riding, western movies and anything to do with horses. He spent many of hours either on a horse or shoeing one. He was a man of few words but many friends. He was always up for an adventure and his favorite view was the open road.

He would regale his family and friends with stories of his travels, his favorite ones were about the time he spent on the Sesquicentennial Wagon Train in 1986.

Mike lived a fascinating full life and will be missed by everyone he touched.

His wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
