Jerry Lambert

Jerry Boyd Lambert our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2017.   His daughter Crystal, his loving parents, and two sisters who all preceded him in death.  Jerry was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on August 1, 1950, to Audria and Joseph Lambert.

Jerry was the most loving caring, understanding, non-judgmental person who never met a stranger. He was loved by anyone and everyone he ever came across and his smile could light up a room. Jerry loved going to garage sales to find things he could bring home and take into his shed and turn into treasures. Jerry loved spending time outside in his shed, on his tractor, new mower, and on his four-wheeler, you couldn’t keep him inside. Jerry loved to hold his annual 4th of July BBQ and always took pride in family and friends.

Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Dorothy Lambert; his sister Faye Cunningham and husband Kenneth; daughters, Sheri Swanner and husband Robert, Tina Padron and husband Paul, Tiffany Witte and husband Kevin and Kriss Luna; son-in-laws, Michael McCradic and Roy Jones; niece, Melodie Cunningham and boyfriend Homer; his grandchildren that loved him dearly, Sonja Jones, Colin and Shelbey Padron, Jerry Jones, Devin Padron, Amber Jones, Daria and Derek Hull, Rachel Jones, Catrina McCradic, Shawn McCradic, Devin McCradic, Seth Padron, Blake Harmon, Paul Padron III and Christina Swanner. His great grandchildren that he was so proud of and would brag about them to anyone, Logan, Laikyn, Kayson, Blaikley, Leilani, and Brylee. He was so happy he got to enjoy the time he spent with them.  His great grandchildren loved their Paw Paw.

Jerry will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Our love for our Dad and Paw Paw will always be in our hearts. There will never be enough words to describe his positive outlook on life and how selfless he was to his family.

Condolences

  1. Dorothy I was sorry to hear of your husbands passing. I know you both had a rough time of it. Now he is without pain and you can get some rest too. Please feel free to come by our shop and visit with Kim and I. You need to be around friends. We love you. Annette Greer

  2. We’re thinking of you at this sad time and wishing you all that it takes to get through these difficult days. With Deepest Sympathy

  3. I was so very privileged to get to know him and take care of him. He was always such a character…. mischievous, warm, thoughtful, kind, and a jokester. I am so very sorry for your loss.
