James W. Norman

April 30, 1930 – May 25, 2008

James W. Norman, 78, of Bryan passed away Sunday at his residence. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at Callaway-Jones.

He was born April 30, 1930 in Jacksboro to John Calvin and Anna Lucille Norman. He was in the US Air Force and was a retired electrician for Brown – Root.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.

Survivors include sons, Johnny Berry of Bryan and Scott Norman of Beckville; daughter, Tonya Pinkston of Beckville; brother, Charles Norman of Bryan; sisters, Betty Goats, Janie Emola and Linda Allen, all of Bryan; sister-in-law, Marie Norman of Caldwell; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice Brazos Valley for the generous care and compassion bestowed upon James during his time of need.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W. 26th St., Bryan, TX 77803.
