James Bird, 65, of Bryan, passed away Friday April 5, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Bryan City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

James was born October 25, 1947, in Rifle, Colorado to Robert and Eugenia Bird. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. James’ hobbies included searching for metal and fishing. Most of all, he loved his aquariums and he was known for being a fish enthusiast.

Survivors include his daughters Carrie Bird and Roberta Bird, and 6 grandchildren.
