Ida Ruth (Adcock) Davis, 72, of Bryan, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at her residence. A graveside burial ceremony will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, January 31, 2012, at New Cemetery in La Grange with Rev. Roy Dillard officiating.

Ida was born July 8, 1939 in La Grange, Texas. She has lived in Bryan for 40 years and she worked for GTE for 27 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Lee H. Behrens in 1973, and by her second husband Biford W. Davis in 1997, and by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, J.D. McSwain, of Spring; and also by very close friends whom she considered family, Roy and Shane Dillard, Anthony Salazar and fiancée Courtney and children Brittney and Kelly, Sarah and Keith Salazar and children Kevin and Alyssa, and Seth Dillard, all of Bryan.
