July 6, 1926 – March 27, 2019

Hector Garza, 92, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. A visitation is scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, March 30, 2019, with a Prayer Service beginning at 11:30 am, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Centers, 3001 South College Ave. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Hector was born to Hector Garza Sr., and Luz Garcia Garza, in Cotulla, Texas. He strove to excellence in all he pursued. He was married to Esperanza “Hope” Garza. Hector moved his family a few times offering them different perspectives of Texas living. Hector as a young man enjoyed the great out doors fishing and golfing. He shared that experience with his family and friends. His most favorite sport to enjoy was watching his Dallas Cowboy’s. He was employed with Texas A&M before retiring.

His wife Hope Garza, and parents all precede him in death.

His children Carlos and wife Arlene Garza, Hector Garza, Diamantina “Diamond” and husband Delmar Arellano; his sister, Connie Garza; his ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; all survive Hector.
