Tex and Family
Johnnie and I were deeply sadden to learn of Hazel passing on. We so enjoyed the years we spent together in the service and later when you and Hazel visited us. We hope that time will sooth your grief and the wonderful memories that you have of her and her life will sustain you through this period and beyond.
Always with Love

Dear Tex and Family, Irene and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of Hazel, a devoted wife, Mother and Commander of the Owens household. Hazel was the power behind the throne at home and as a former nurse and USAF officer always knew how to make life easier for all her charges. She always supported her husband in spite of his love for flying and train travel so she had to be special. Our best to you Tex, the boys and their families during your period of grief. All Our Love, Nick and Irene
