Gloria Maldonado Lopez, 64, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday evening, November 1, 2011, at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. A second visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 4 also at the funeral home.

Gloria was born January 2, 1947, in Robstown, Texas, to Alejandro and Eulalia Maldonado. She worked primarily as a homecare provider. She has lived in the Bryan area off and on throughout her life, but has lived here permanently for the past three years.

Survivors include her daughters, Santos Rosales, of Bryan, Lesvia Jaramillo and fiancé Abel Garcia, of Laredo, Oneida Moreno and husband Julian, of Bryan; sons, Chris Soliz and Johnnie Soliz, both of Laredo, Frank Soliz, of Corpus Christi, Max Soliz, of Lytle, Texas; brother, Pedro Maldonado, of Robstown, Texas; sisters, Rosa Garcia, of Bryan, Lucy Rendo and Lucinda Chavez, both of Michigan; eleven grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
