Frank Albert Kologinczak

Frank Kologinczak, 73, of Bryan passed away on Tuesday, June 3 after a valiant battle with cancer. The funeral mass begins with the Rosary at 2 PM on Sunday, June 8 at Christ The Good Shepard Chapel, 600 South Coulter Drive in Bryan. Visitation is from 1 PM until 2 PM in the chapel. Cremation and funeral arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Frank was the son of Frank Albert Kologinczak Sr. and Agnes Klodginski Kologinczak. Frank was one with nature – he enjoyed the outdoors through hunting, fishing and was an avid golfer. In addition, he enjoyed wood working and loved music. His sanctuary was along the banks of the pond where he communicated with God. He was a great cook, loved good food, and enjoyed barbecuing for events. Frank met Lois, the love of his life, and they shared 21 years of marriage. He adored children, and his grandchildren were his greatest source of entertainment. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Lois Kologinczak; his sons Frank Kologinczak, of Houston, Mitch McKinley and wife Angie, of Bryan; his daughters Patricia Perkins and husband Larin, of Spring, Diana Isben, of Round Rock, Cynthia Skains and husband Jerry, of Alvin; his brothers Julian Kologinczak and wife Gertrude, of Houston, John Kologinczak, of Bryan, Kenny Kologinczak, of Bryan; his sister Diana Allen and husband Wayne, of Bryan; his sister-in-law Debbie Kologinczak, of Bryan; his eleven precious grandchildren, one great granddaughter; and other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bernard Kologinczak Sr. and son Lewis Kologinczak.

The family requests memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to Hospice Brazos Valley, the American Cancer Society, or to St. Joseph Catholic Church. His family is very grateful of all the care, love and support during this time.
