Eugene Steve Salach

Eugene Steve Salach, 81, of College Station, passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2011, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory in Bryan.

Eugene was born September 5, 1929, in Cameron, Texas, to Steve and Milady Salach. He worked as a drag line operator in the coal mining business.

Survivors include his wife, Geertruida Vos Salach, of College Station; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Salach, and Daniel and Rina Salach; and two grandchildren.
