Erin Matous is a native of Central Illinois who knew at age 16 that she wanted to be a funeral director. In fact, it was the only career she ever saw herself in. She began working at a local funeral home while in high school. Then, as now, she wants to give people the best start to the grieving process as possible. She graduated from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois, in May 2019. Erin with her children, Finnegan and Carrigan, have made their home here in Bryan-College Station and she loves the area. Spare time finds her spending time with her family and friends as well as the children’s friends. On vacations she enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, watching movies, and most of all going to the beach. Iced coffee is what keeps Erin so incredibly delightful.
