Elsa Brower, 85, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, at Magnified Health and Rehab in College Station. Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 21 with a visitation from 11 am to time of service at 1pm at Calvary Baptist Church on Cavitt. Brother David Murphy will officiate. Private interment will follow at Rest Ever Memorial Park Cemetery. Service arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.
Elsa was born on October 27, 1927 in Cuba, to Domingo and Carolina (Rodriguez) Rosado. She met Warren Brower in Cuba while in the US Army while he was on leave in route to Germany. They corresponded by writing for a few years then was joined in marriage in New Jersey on February 22nd, 1948. They remained married for 43 years. She enjoyed being a wonderful housewife to her children and loved her church and family. She also loved cooking, sewing and fishing. She was devoted to our Lord and was an incredible living testimony to those around her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 43 years, Warren Raymond Brower; her parents; and Elsa Maria Brower her daughter.
We will cherish her memories for years to come, her family; George Brower and wife Lupita, of Houston, Audie Brower and wife Starlo, of Austin; Linda Suggs and husband Thomas, of Riverview, Fl.; her thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, her two great-great grandchildren; her sister Donna Pena; and other relatives and close friends.
