Ellouise Turner

Ellouise Turner, 87, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Lampstand Health and Rehab in Bryan. Service arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. A graveside ceremony celebrating her life was held Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2011, at the Bryan City Cemetery.

Ellouise was born May 19, 1923, in Cushman, Arkansas, to David and Elizabeth Jordan. She has been a resident of this area for 10 years, after moving from Arkansas. She loved quilting and crocheting. Ellouise also enjoyed working in her garden and planting flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Turner, and her half-sister, Opal Barnes, and her parents.

Ellouise is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Byron and Tami Neal, of Bryan, Texas, Max and Diane Neal, of Shady Cove, Oregon; grandchildren, Sheila Dawn Neal, Patty Lynn Mellore and husband Anthony, Kristi Leigh Locke and husband Larry; great grandchildren, Alicia, Nikko, Skye, Molly, Lawson; and cousin Billie Ruth Denehan.
