Elizabeth Marie (Nagel) Allen , 76, of Bryan passed away on June 13, 2015. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 1:30pm in the Bryan City Cemetery. Steve Holcombe will officiate the service. Funeral services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.
Betty Lee enjoyed cooking a good meal for her family. She loved her rock gardens and her plants. She liked to build puzzles and welcomed who would venture into building puzzles with her. Betty Lee married Thomas Carl Allen Sr. on September 30, 1959 in Llano, Texas. They moved their family to Bryan in 1976 and she was employed with K-Mart until they closed. She had a deep sense of adoration for her grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Mumzy by her grandchildren and enjoyed visits from them and her neighbors. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her children and their families.
“Betty Lee” was born September 16, 1938 in Fredericksburg, TX to Herman and Clara Nagel. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Carl Allen Sr. and her father Herman Nagel.
She is survived by her mother, Clara Nagel; her siblings Erna, Clara, Conrad, Katy and Randy. She is also survived by her children Tom and Pam Allen, Jeff and Natalie Allen and Jud and Julie Allen and 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Sorry to hear of your loss. All my memories of Betty are pleasant from our years at Fbg. High School and at Edison Street Methodist Church. Her picture reflects the kind person she was.
