Edward Ray Lambert, Sr., a resident of Burleson County for 30 years, passed away on Saturday, March,16, 2019 at his home in Somerville, Texas, on the Brazos River, he loved so much. He was born on November 7, 1957 in Dallas, TX to his parents, Raymond Lambert and Gracie Ricketts. He was an avid fisherman and an excellent cook. Edward was a jack of all trades. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lambert and Gracie Ricketts; maternal grandparents, Ellie and Herman Knear; and his sister, Glenda Duncan.
Edward is survived by his wife of 44 years, Roxie Lambert; sons, Edward Ray Lambert, Jr., and Larry James Lambert; sister, Peggy Ansley; brother-in-law, Paul Carlile and his wife, Gracie Carlile; grandchildren, Kathleen and Evelyn Lambert, and Dylan Richardson; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a host of extended loving family members and friends.
Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.
