Edra Pauline Cullins

September 4, 1932 – December 15, 2019

Edra Cullins, 87, of Bryan, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019. She was born in McLean, Texas to Norman Scott and Sara Harris Johnston on September 4, 1932. She graduated from Stephenville High School in 1949. She married Ed Johnson on June 21, 1951 and lived in Graham from 1966 – 1980 where she raised her children. On March 15, 1980, she married Glenn Cullins and lived in DeLeon and Bangs until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Scott and Sara Johnston; husband, Glenn Cullins; son, Eddie Johnson; brother, Norman Scott Johnston, Jr.; and sister, Donna June Connatser.

Edra is survived by her children, Sara Cutshall, College Station; Scott Johnson (Dr. Lana Johnson), Bastrop; Alan Johnson (Julie Johnson), Decorah, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, December 22, 2019, at First Baptist Church, Bryan, with Bill Wiman officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Prayers for this wonderful family, you lost one of the most wonderful, caring, compassionate, thoughtful ladies I have ever known. I loved her with all my heart and thought of her as my second mother. I am so happy she is rejoicing in heaven free of pain and suffering with her family that had went before her.
