Doris Stimmel, 66, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday November 19, 2013, at her residence with her family by her side. The family will receive guests during a visitation from 1 until 5 p.m., Saturday November 30, 2013 at their residence, 2301 Wilhelm Dr., in Bryan. A memorial ceremony celebrating her life will begin at 2 p.m. also, at the residence.
Doris was born February 24, 1947 in Pasadena, Texas, to Birl and Pearl Capps. She was preceded in death by her brother Sonny Capps; sisters Patty Smith and Aline Elliott; and her parents.
Survivors include her husband Terry Stimmel; daughters, Shelly Brown and husband Ric, Sidney Stimmel, Terri Stimmel; sons, Robert Stimmel and wife Corey, John Stimmel and wife Winnie; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Thoughts & prayers to your family. I remember all the years Doris worked along side Robert mowing our lawn, cutting trees, and collecting payments. You all helped me when Woody died. Thank you.
