Clarence M. Ellis, 95, died peacefully on October 6, 2014 at Hospice Brazos Valley in Bryan, Texas. Graveside services are set for 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
No one was a more devoted husband or loving father. As the last of our family’s “greatest generation” he remained an inspiration to the end. View the downtown Houston skyline at night and appreciate Uncle Clarence’s contributions to his hometown.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty, his only daughter Dianne Franklin, and his son-in-law Patrick Franklin.
He leaves to mourn him many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and caring friends and neighbors.
