Christy Termotto, 40, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019, in Bryan. A visitation will held from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center. Christy was born in Bryan, Texas on January 20, 1979, to Wayne and Molly Swink Dover, of College Station, Texas. Anyone that knew Christy will always remember her beautiful green eyes, her gorgeous smile and her infectious laugh. Christy fiercely loved Jesus and her precious daughters. She had a huge heart and was always serving others. Whether it is using her phenomenal cooking skills to bless someone or her gifted hands to minister through massage therapy, she gave selflessly and showed the love of Christ.

She exuded southern charm and southern hospitality. Christy never met a stranger, as evidenced by her several weeks in Scott and White Hospital in which she asked and found out every detail about every employee’s life who worked on the 5th Floor. She also, loved all Aggie Sports as one of their biggest fans. She would work her day around Aggie Football games and would constantly text or call her dad with her approval or dismay over what was happening on the field.

Christy is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leldon and Lucille Dover, of Jacksonville, Texas; her maternal grandparents, J. Mack and Louise Swink, of Jacksonville, Texas.

Christy is survived by her husband, Christian Termotto and their daughter Mali as well as her daughters Mackenzie and Madison Scanlin; her parents Wayne and Molly Dover; her sister, Mandy Walker and husband Dr. Cliff Walker, and their son Trey; her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to our dear friends of Callaway-Jones Funeral Centers, the entire staff on the 5th Floor at Baylor Scott and White College Station, Dr. Atique, Drs. Bill and Jackie Covington, The Angels at the Inpatient Unit of Hospice Brazos Valley and Kitti Rolfsmeyer, Laurie Duke, Charlotte Franklin, Misti Steer, Cristi Wood Powell, Wendy Nall, Stacey Ingram, Maria Lopez, Martha McPherson, Valerie Weber, Janet Whitworth, and Dr. Steven Higginbotham. “We are grateful beyond words.”

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Care Unit, 1600 Joseph Drive, Bryan, Texas 77802.

  26. Dear Dover Family, Christian and Girls,
I was so fortunate to have been able to talk to and to text with Christy since December. We shared laughter, hope, life, prayers and memories. I will be forever grateful for that. We will all miss her smile, her laughter and her love for life and for her girls and family. She was gracious enough to leave behind so many memories for all to lean on and get through this life without her. My deepest prayers have been and will continue to be for her beautiful girls. My greatest hope is that they also possess the same fierce fight within themselves that Christy definitely had. One of the last things she said to me was she was a fighter and wasn’t giving up! And while she did fight with all her might, a true southern lady always knows when it is time to leave. I pray for strength for all of her family. I know she is now a new being in Christ with no personal battles to fight, no health issues to fight. What a blessing! My prayers are with you all.
    Love and peace,
    Marci K. Ward

  31. Dear Wayne and Molly and Mandy,Sorry it has taken me this long to send my Condolence It was so hard to have gotten a phone call from Marci telling me that Christy had pass.I Would have never expected that she would be leaving us all at such a young age.I had went and seen Chris at her house and took all three of My kids to see her and we cried together thinking about all the times we had spent together when we where both Married to those Scanlin Boys that was a long hall from Christmas Party to Birthday Party and playing volleyball at Aunt Donna in the pool and us all getting together for Italian spaghetti all the way down to Fastpitch Tournmant.I just hope you guys know There may had been a lot of things that Christy didn’t do right but I can surely tell you the Most important thing that she did was always do her best in being a Mother because no matter how hard it was she held in there until she just could not hold on any longer.I know Christy is no longer in pain or fear she can rest in peace and look down from Heaven above and but her beautiful Smile and the bright light from her Hallo down on us.Christy will always hold a spot in my heart now and forever she will never be forgotten. We where once Sister N laws and even after both of us went on with our lives I never stop caring about Christy and The Most beautiful amazing Children that she had brought into this World will let me know that with them I still will fell that She is with me at all times because her life lives in the Heart of those amazing Children of Hers. MAY YOU ALL BE AT PEACE. LOVE ALWAYS DOLLIE Scanlin
