Christine J. Dulaney

Christine J. Dulaney, 90, of College Station, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and teacher, passed away Sunday morning, May 18, 2008. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 20th at 11 a.m. at the College Station Cemetery.
Christine was born November 27, 1917 in Port Neches, Texas to Clyde and Lillie Jones. She graduated from Texas State College for Women in Denton, Texas and later received her Masters Degree from Sam Houston State Teachers College in Huntsville, Texas. She and her husband, Louie P. Dulaney moved to College Station in 1945.
Christine taught second grade for College Station ISD for over 27 years. She was a member of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International for 58 years, and a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, La Villita Chapter where she served as Registrar. She was a member of First Baptist Church of College Station for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her son, David J. Dulaney; her husband, Louie P. Dulaney and her parents, Clyde and Lillie Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane D. Hervey of College Station; and granddaughter, Meridith H. Cooney and husband, Greg of Spring, Texas.
The family would like to thank the compassionate care she received at Brazos Oaks in Bryan and Sheridan on Rock Prairie in College Station.
