Charles Elliott

Charles Edward Elliott, aged 61, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Bryan. He joined the Lord after showing a tremendous amount of courage during his battle with cancer. Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Academy Chapel, 2500 S. College Avenue, Bryan, Texas 77801. Cremation and Memorial Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Charles was born in Bryan and spent the majority of his professional years at Lily Dairy. He enjoyed antique hunting and metal detecting. Charles carried a special place in his heart for animals. Especially ones without a home. He was known to bring home abandoned animals to live with him for the rest of their lives.

Charles is survived by his brother, Tommy Elliott; daughter, Carrin Denise Lewis; son-in-law, Jason Lewis; two grandbabies, Ella Grace and Hudson Aubrey; Aunts Lorrine Wade and Ella Mae Vernon; Uncle Daniel “Butch” Vernon and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by both parents, Jack and Clara Elliott.
