Carol Ann Locke, 54, of Bryan, Texas passed away peacefully
at her residence Friday, January 15, 2010. Visitation will be held
5 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 18, at Callaway-Jones Funeral
Home in Bryan. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Carol was born May 24, 1955, in Bryan, to Lonnie Edward
Locke and Lois Lewis Locke. She worked as a heavy equipment
operator for more than 30 years. She was an avid outdoorsman
with a passion for hunting and fishing. She also enjoyed cooking
for friends and family. She was also known for her love of
animals, especially cats. She will be remembered for her desire
to live life her own way.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Graham, of Bryan;
brother, Jim Locke and wife, Cathy of Tabor; sister, Merrie
Noak and husband, Russell of Edge; aunt, Shirley Locke of
Bryan; nephew, Lonnie Locke II of Tabor; niece, Mayci Noak
of Edge; special “angels” Regina and Larry Tinney, of Wellborn
and Emmy and Roger Nichols, of Glen Rose and numerous
cousins.
