Brenda Norris

Brenda Hines Norris, 64, of Bryan, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 28, 2020. There will be a Celebration of Life to honor Brenda at 2pm Sunday, March 8, at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center in Bryan. Immediately following the service, friends are invited to a reception at Callaway-Jones.

Brenda was born November 11, 1955, in Madisonville, Texas, to William and Velma Huff Hines Mantie. She was retired from working at Must Be Heaven Bakery in Bryan and has lived in this area for her lifetime. Brenda was a member of the United States Bowling Congress and participated regularly in local bowling leagues. Her grandchildren where the light of her life, she loved them dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha “Lee” Norris Jr., and her father William Hines.

Survivors include proud children Otha “Lee” Norris III, Jolynn Reynolds, Danielle Barron, Nikki Gorman, Zeke Conner; mother, Velma Mantie; 5 step children; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Glenda Hines, Joyce Hevel, Jonell Speed; brother, Larry Hale; and her ex-husband, Dalton Conner.

Condolences

  1. We are quite saddened by the passing of Brenda, as we were by Lee’s passing. We knew both of them through Lee’s work at the Cyclotron, but then saw Brenda on many occasions, and always enjoyed our interchanges. She was such a kind person, and we will share her loss with her entire family, and send them our sympathy..

  2. I knew Brenda through must be heaven she was good and kind women she was always smiling when we saw each other she blessed alot of people my prayers go to the family I’m so sorry for your loss
