Brenda Carol Calder, 61, of Bryan, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. The family will receive friends during visitation from 12 -1 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. immediately following the visitation. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
Brenda was born on March 16, 1952 in Jackson, Mississippi. She married her husband on May 18, 1972 and they moved to Bryan 21 years ago from Brookshire, Texas. Brenda worked for Dabbs Marketing. Her husband, Leslie, loved her so much. Leslie and Brenda grew up across the street from each other and theirs was a true love. Brenda was lovingly known as Annie.
She was preceded in death by her father Carnet Wayne O’Neal.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie E. Calder, Jr.; mother, Flora M. McDaniel O’Neal, of Jackson, Mississippi; son, Andrew Wayne Calder, of Bryan, Texas; daughter, Tammy Marie Salazar, of Franklin, Texas; brother, Carnet Wayne O’Neal, Jr. and his wife Beverly, of Terry, Mississippi; and four grandchildren.
