Bobbie Jean Couch
November 16, 1951 – December 14, 2019

Bobbie Jean Couch (Leifheit) of College Station, Texas passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway Jones Funeral Center 3001 South College Avenue, Bryan, Texas.

Bobbie was born in San Francisco, California to the late Bob and Delores Couch, they shortly after moved to Pasadena, Texas. She graduated from Sam Rayburn High School class of 1970; and attended Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas where she ran on the track team and studied physical education and arts. She had been an active member of the Zion Church of Kurten, Texas.

Bobbie lived eight years in New Hampshire where she worked for Erie Scientific, and twenty-six years in College Station, Texas and worked for Texas A&M University in the Financial Aid Department where she retired in 2013. She lived her most recent years in Caldwell, Texas in the Copperas Hollow Nursing Home.

Bobbie was generous; kind spirited and enjoyed many family and friends. Her hobbies included playing the piano as a young girl, track, ballet, theater, music, books, gardening, animals, the color purple, and following Aggie sports. Although Bobbie is no longer with us, her love and kindness will live on in the memories of those that were bless to be part of her life.

She is predeceased by her parents, Bob and Delores Couch; her sisters at heart and best friends, Cordrell Scott and Dee Dee Leifheit.

Her daughter, Cari Beth Dickson and husband Tyler Dickson of Dover, NH, her grandchildren, Colton Dickson and Brexton Dickson, survive Bobbie.
