Betty Jean McIntosh, 80, of College Station, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio.
Betty was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 4, 1931. She worked in the cafeteria at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Richard James McIntosh.
Survivors include her son, Daniel McIntosh of Hondo, Texas; daughters, Gloria Henry of College Station, Cheryl McIntosh and Teresa McIntosh, both of Dallas; brothers, Victor Frederick of Victorville, California, Ronald Harrison, Elmer Frederick, and Jerry Frederick, all of Fairfield, Ohio; sisters, Lorena Wharton and Rebecca Ratliff, both of Fairfield, Ohio; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
I really am happy I had the opportunity to get to know Betty Jean McIntosh a little while. She was so kind, every time I got to interact with her. Joe & I send you our sympathy, as I know you will really miss her in your lives.
