Barbara “Rebecca” Barbosa, 82, of Bryan, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 18, 2018. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, October 24, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan, with Rosary recited at 7pm. There will be a Celebration of Life Remembrance at 10am Thursday, October 25 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, with interment to follow at the Bryan City Cemetery.

Barbara was born September 29, 1936 in the Benchley area to Aldaido and Guadelupe Romero. She loved dancing, cooking, and spending as much time as possible with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will also be remembered for her sense of humor and her jokes.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tiodoro Barbosa; her son, Tiodoro Barbosa Jr; numerous siblings and her parents.

Survivors include her son, Tony Barbosa and wife Sharon; sister, Annie Pedez; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christina, Andraya, and Adam Barbosa; and great granddaughter, Skylee “Heaven” Barbosa.
