She would often pretend Jesus was coming to visit her and go around cleaning up to prepare for him. That love for Jesus and her faith carried on throughout her life. They lived there for 8 months before returning to Clovis, New Mexico. The next few years they started a family and moved to Oklahoma City, Kinsley, Kansas and finally to Bryan, Texas, where they have remained.

Barbara completed a nursing program through Blinn College and began a nursing career. She had a servant’s heart and enjoyed working with the elderly. She was a nurse for twenty-plus years. She worked at Sherwood Nursing Home in Bryan for several years before retiring from nursing to focus on her family. She loved her family and doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her kind-hearted nature brought many into her life that she called family.

She has passed on her tremendous faith, loving nature, compassion, stubbornness, and big heart to her 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Rosser; mother, Betty J. Parie; granddaughter, Savanah Ensey; grandsons, Russell Ensey, Matthew Ensey; brother, David Russ; sister, Joyce Price.
