Averil Lee ‘Sugarman’ Stubblefield

Graveside services for Averil Lee ‘Sugarman’ Stubblefield, 59, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Bryan City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.

Mr. Stubblefield died Tuesday in Bryan.

He was a tile setter in the construction business.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Stubblefield of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Christy Stubblefield of Bryan; a daughter, Mary Lou Stubblefield of College Station; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Floyd and Patsy Stubblefield and Bob Stubblefield, all of Moffet, Loyal and Marlene Stubblefield of Silver City, N.M., and Wayne Stubblefield of Lovejoy; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, DeEtta Whisenhunt and Hazel and Dean Hodges, all of Gatesville, Mildred and David Young of Palestine, Jo Guill of Moffet and Alice and Randy Whisenhunt of Idell; and two grandchildren.
