Jerry Galvan was born on July 22, 1965, to Santiago and Lupe Narro Galvan in Bryan. He was a self-motivated guy who went to work early in life and realized the importance of education completing his GED. Jerry was a truck driver most of his life but ultimately was the greatest of Uncles to his nieces and nephews. As the first-born grandson and nephew to his family his father’s sisters spoiled him a young prince of the family. Jerry enjoyed sports of all sorts but his passion was slow pitch softball and baseball. He was a true supporter of his nieces and nephews who played ball. He was a fan of the San Antonio Spurs rarely ever missing a televised game. His heart was filled with enthusiasm for the Arkansas Razorbacks Football program; he bled Arkansas red.
His mother Lupe Galvan; his brother Michael Galvan; his grandparents; all precede him in death.
Jerry is survived by his father Santiago Galvan; his siblings Brenda and her husband Armando Gamoa, Corina Galvan, Tommy and wife Brenda T. Galvan, Gilbert and his wife Toni Galvan, Yvonne Galvan, and Crystal Galvan; his beloved aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews; and other close family friends.
