Charles Lemuel Morgan, IV, 57, of Angleton, TX, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June, 13, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers in Bryan, with Certified Life Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield officiating.
Known to all as Chuck, he was born November 9,1960 in Searcy, Arkansas, one of four children to Charles and Cathy Morgan. He attended A &M Consolidated High School. He started his career in construction from a young age but his passion and expertise was operating heavy equipment, earning
professional certificates as he went.
Chuck met Brenda Blackburn in 1989, and were married May 25, 1996. They loved traveling and having adventures on his Harley. By far, their favorite ride was making the trip on his 1940 Knucklehead to the Harley Davison 95th anniversary in Milwaukee, camping and riding the Natchez Trail along the
way. Chuck participated in motorcycle rallies, Toys for Tots, and other charitable runs. He was not a religious man, he was a spiritual man. He was a loving husband, devoted father to his children and cherished brother to his sisters, and a loyal friend to many.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cathlene Duncan Morgan and Charles Lemuel Morgan, III.
Chuck leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda Morgan of Angleton;three sisters and their spouses, Terry Morgan Douthitt and her husband Richard, Donna Morgan Tippitt and her husband Jeffery, and Kellie Morgan Hartis and her husband Jered; four children Jimmy Ray Owens, Rene Remaly, Kris Owens, and Kevin Hendrix; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 7 nieces and nephews.
