Alexander Serna

Alexander Serna, 58, of Bryan, passed away peacefully Friday September 7, 2018. There will be a private viewing for the family. A Celebration of Life honoring Alexander will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, 3001 S College Ave. in Bryan.
Alexander was born January 22, 1960, to Bernardo and Eulalia Serna. He has lived in Bryan for over thirty years after moving from Hearne, Texas, and was retired from owning and operating his own construction business. He was an outgoing guy, was very competitive playing pool and espescially softball. He was a dedicated Florida Gator fan and will be also be remembered for his love for his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Geneva Serna.
Survivors include his loving wife, Maria Serna; sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Courtney Serna, Joe and Monica Serna; daughter, Esmeralda Serna; brothers, Daniel Serna and partner Damian, Bernardo Serna; sisters, Linda Rodriguez, Betty Castro, Marta Moore; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  1. Our deepest condolences to his wife Maria, his children Phil and Elsie, his ex-wife Helen, and his siblings. We have been praying for all of you for comfort, peace and strength during this most difficult time. Our love and prayers are with you. We will not be able to attend due to my health issues. But will have you in my thoughts, love and prayers.
