Kathryn “Kathy” Elaine Loveless

Kathy Loveless
April 11, 1946 – March 15, 2018

Kathy Loveless, 71, of Bryan, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018, in Bryan, at the comfort of home. A Life Tribute Celebration Service will be at 11:30am, Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, 3001 South College Ave, Bryan. Life Tribute Cremation Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station with Life Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield officiating.

Kathy was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Milburn and Virgie McClendon Howard on April 11, 1946. Kathy had five siblings, Stan Waite Howard, Chester Warren Howard, Judith Lee Hill, Robert William Howard, Janell Reese. From the time she was a child, Kathy lit up the room with laughter and compassion. She may have left us at 71, but Kathy lived all 71 years to the fullest. Whether she was making breakfast for her children, Dilyn and Kyle, or in Vegas enjoying the lights and shows with the love of her life, Jim Loveless, Kathy put her family at the heart of her life. Kathy lived every day with a task in mind, and mind to accomplish it. She began as a teacher, and quickly grew into a well know community entrepreneur, successful in property, franchises, and more. She was truly a hard worker but fair to all she met and mentored. She was mom and mentor to many. Kathy and Jim provided the best home possible together for their children, and just five years ago welcomed triplet grandchildren, Elaine Edlyn Loveless, Talon James Loveless, and Ky Dean Loveless. Kathy was there, again, to make sure the next generation had the same morals, guidance, and unconditional love she had provided to her own children. She was the best wife, mother, and nana one could have wished for, and she will be with us until the end of time.

Her two brothers, her sister, and her parents, all precede Kathy in death.

She is survived by her incredible loving husband, Jim Loveless; her daughter, Dilyn Loveless and husband David Wilson; her son Kyle Loveless; her three grandchildren, Elaine Edlyn Loveless, Talon James Loveless, and Ky Dean Loveless; her sister Janelle and husband Bill Reese.
