Choyse “Kay” Nichols

Choyse “Kay” Nichols, 70, of Bryan passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00am in Bryan City Cemetery.

Kay was born on June 2, 1947 to John Paul and Naoma (Temple) Magness in Houston. She shares a birthday with her twin, Charles. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in Houston in 1965. In her life, she was blessed with two daughters, Abby and Jessica. Kay worked as a home health care provider for 20 years. At church as a child she taught herself piano, as well as others, which turned into a lifelong love of hers.

She is preceded in death by her parents John Paul and Naoma and grandson, Chance Faust-Nichols.

Kay is survived by the father of her children, Harold Mark Nichols, two daughters Abby Bazy and husband Chris and Jessica Nichols; five grandchildren Christian Bazy, Quincy Bazy, Caiden Graham, Keirra Nichols, and Kinley Nichols; and twin brother Charles Ray Magness and wife Sherriee.
