Carrie Mistretta

Carrie Bird Mistretta, 39, of Bryan, passed away December 20, 2017. Her life will be honored with a Celebration of Life at a future date. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.

Carrie was born July 7, 1978 in Bryan, Texas. Carrie never knew a stranger, if you were lucky enough to become her friends, she was a loyal friend and would go out of her way to help you. She loved animals, she would take in any stray dog or cat and find a good home for them. Carrie loved to cook and was very good at it. Carrie also loved doing crafts. She rarely sold any, choosing to give them away.

Her survivors include her parents, Van and Gwynna(Gwen) Crosley of Bryan; children, Dustin Macik and wife Alexis of Bryan, Memory Adam of Coolidge, TX, Lena Bird of Bryan; sister, Roberta (Birdie) Walker of Bryan; brother, Eric Crosley of Bryan; one grandchild, Lilly Macik of Bryan; and numerous extended family and friends.

  3. I don’t even know where to begin. I grew up with Carrie and when we were teenagers we double dated every weekend. We grew up and away for awhile then some yrs ago we ran n to each other again and she seemed to b living a great and healthy life. This news just crushes my soul. I will forever remember u my dear sweet and wonderful friend. Rest n peace my beautiful angel.

I loved carrie with all my heart and always will…I have beenblessed to have known her and there will never be a day that goes by i wont think of her and tell her outloud goodmorning..my days would start everyday for along time now witha goodmorning message either from her or to her and i cant begin to ezplain how much i miss that already…she will forever have a fingerprint on my heart and i am sorry to have lost her in this life so soon…my thoughts and prayers are with her family and i want to thank them for speaking with me during this time to involve me in her remembrance..very sad shes gone but so very thankful to have known her
